Racing  Formats

Sports, Saloon and F1 consist of a series of 3 minute heats, one on each lane. The best single heat is counted for the finals. Every entrant has a final which consists of 2x2 minute segments, one on an inner and one on an outer lane. The slowest qualifiers final is run first with one or two drivers, depending on attendance, progressing to the next higher final.

On Handicap nights, handicaps are added to the heat scores for qualifying and at the beginning of the finals. Points for the Handicap Championship are based on the postions attained in the finals. Points for the Open Championship are base on the heats without handicaps added.  On Open nights the reverse applies.

1/24th  and GTS are run to a semi-endurance format consisting of a run on each lane of at least 5 minutes, longer if time permits. All four runs are added together to produce the result. There are no finals.
